In times like this, we must remember who we are. We are all in this together and we all need to help each other.
Just like the devastating fires in Australia, I made bat wraps and kangaroo pouches to help the many orphaned animals that lost their homes. Now it is us, mankind, who needs help. I am very blessed to have a talent in sewing, and I am always going to use it to help others in any way that I can.
I am making face masks because of the tremendous shortage and demand. They will at least, give a doctor, nurse or other healthcare worker the PPE that they so very much need. It is a small donation but a worthy one.
If you can help in any way, do it. Life is precious and we take it for granted sometimes. But as a nation, if we are all helpers, we will get through this trying time.
Stay safe and look for the helpers.
